I know I know……candy cane nails have been done a million times before but I wanted to do them anyway. It’s a simpler version of a candy cane design by Robin Moses, her design – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8SSzKD83Ro

White Polish – White from Boots Natural Collection
Red Polish – OPI ‘I’m Not Really a Waitress’
Green Polish – a green striper from Fraulein 38 (no name)
Gold Polish – China Glaze ‘Midnight Kiss’ (tho I used gold acrylic paint when I did the design on my own nails)
Top Coat – China Glaze Fast Forward

French Manicure Guides by Nailene – they’re fantastic, but make sure you stick them to your hand a couple of times to remove some of the stickiness…if you don’t when you remove the sticker it’ll rip the base coat off your nails

This is not a new video, but I did re-edit it to improve the quality of the video, turned it into 16×9 wide screen and also zoomed up on the nails to make the tutorial easier to watch!

This tutorial will show you a very very simple method to get perfect looking french tips! Extremely inexpensive as well :] No mess and no need to buy those manicure sets with the stencils and stickers.

It’s also a lot more natural and you can customize the french tips to your own liking instead of following a generic stencil.
